Support Josiah

Friday Funding Update:
April 7, 2017

Our property has been a buzz of activity this week! It has been so exciting to see the evidence of God's provision in terms of the weekly increase in funding. But it has been even more thrilling to see the dreams this funding is now bringing to fruition! THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING! And it is all because so many of you graciously gave to support our boy! Thank you just doesn't seem like enough!!! Our current total is......  $54,485.09!!!! We are SO SO SO close to our goal of $60,000!!!

A HUGE shout out to everyone who supported us at Josiah's Pool Party this past weekend! We raised over $3,300!!! This was such an amazing experience and a HUGE boost to our funding! Thank you to the Maynard Aquatics Center for giving us this opportunity! We prayed that God would give Josiah one more good day at the MAC! He lasted about 45 minutes before indicating that he needed to leave. It was a blessing to see him enjoying swimming!

We need $5,514.91 to reach our funding goal of $60,000! We are on the home stretch, but we really need to bring in the remainder of the funding so that we can fully complete the project. Foust Pool Construction is doing such an amazing job on the therapy pool! The rain halted construction the past two days, but we are up and running today! I can't say enough about how wonderful it has been to work with this company! If you ever need a pool installed, they are awesome!

We officially sent off the first of two payments for the AquaShield Enclosure that will be placed over the pool to allow Josiah to use it year round. The first payment puts our enclosure into production! We cannot wait to get it delivered!!!! A huge thank you to AquaShield for the sizable discount they gave us! Their product is going to be the perfect solution to meet our needs. It will cut the pool maintenance down drastically while allowing Josiah access to the pool all year long. Rain or shine! Sleet or snow! Amazing!!!

My brother Jonathan's company LaTour Electric has been doing so much to help us out! Construction on the therapy room will be starting very soon, and the timing is perfect. Josiah has been struggling so much. He isn't well. And, on top of his ears still being sore and his GERD flaring up, we got a call this week that our insurance is no longer approving his GERD medication. They do not believe that this particular medication is medically necessary. We have been very busy appealing this decision. Please pray for us that they will listen and approve Josiah's medication no later than Monday. He needs this medication terribly! Please continue to pray for our boy. The meltdowns and self injury are a daily issue, and it is wearing on us all.
